About Platform Placement Fees

How is the shift pricing calculated each month?
We use a progressive pricing model based on the number of completed shifts at your practice each month. You don’t need to choose a tier - it’s automatically applied based on your monthly activity. Each shift is charged according to the tier it falls into, not retroactively.
Example:If your practice completes 25 shifts in a month:
  • · First 5 shifts: Free
  • · Next 15 shifts (6-20): 15 × £35 = £525
  • · Remaining 5 shifts (21-25): 5 × £30 = £150
Total the month: £675 Average cost per shift: £27
Do I pay locums through the platform?
No, locums invoice your practice directly for the shifts they work, based on the terms you agree through the platform. Ronda does not handle payments to locums or deduct any fees from their earnings.
Do I pay a fee when I book a locum?
Yes, but only when a booking is completed. A fee per shift applies for each locum successfully completed through Ronda, based on the monthly volume.
When are invoices issued?
Invoices are issued monthly, at the beginning of each month, covering all shifts completed in the previous calendar month.
Where can I find my invoices?
Invoices are available anytime under Settings > Billing.
How long do I have to pay the invoice?
You have 14 days from the date of issue to settle your invoice, in line with the platform’s Terms of Use.
