All locums on Ronda are verified before they can apply for any shifts. We check their RCVS registration and photo ID. For non-UK nationals, we also verify their right to work in the UK. Our two-way review system then creates ongoing quality assurance based on real placements.
Your Locum Team is your private pool of locums, notified first every time you post a shift. Build it two ways: invite locums you already trust from outside Ronda (£59/month per branch, no booking fees ever, 2 months free); or favourite a Ronda locum after a great shift at no extra cost — just the standard 5.99%. If no one in your team is available, the shift opens automatically to Ronda’s wider network.
Post an urgent shift and matched locums in your area are notified immediately. Cancellations are recorded against a locum’s profile so practices can factor reliability into future decisions.
Across the UK. We support practices nationwide. Availability varies by region and season, so some shifts fill faster than others.
Once a shift is complete, locums send their invoice directly through the Ronda platform. All invoices land in one centralised place in your practice account. Mark them as paid or log the payment date directly in the platform, so you always know where you stand across every branch. You pay the locum directly based on the agreed rate. The Ronda platform fee is billed separately at the end of each month.
Most practices are set up and have posted their first shift within 15 minutes. For future shifts, you can re-use any previously posted placement as the basis for a new booking, saving you time without needing to start from scratch.
